Square de la Prévoyance

The Square de la Prévoyance sits as a quiet triangle of greenery, defined by a heavy, ornate wrought iron gate that separates the residential street from the park. It was established in the early twentieth century on land belonging to the former Le Prévoyance insurance company, which donated the plot to the town of Vincennes. A single, aging cedar tree dominates the center of the lawn, planted shortly after the park opened to provide shade for the workers nearby.
