Safa Sarees occupies a narrow, multi-story building in the heart of the weaving district of Bangali Tola. Thousands of silk threads pass through complex loom setups inside these walls to produce patterns that take weeks to finish. Master weavers here handle the traditional Banarasi brocade, a process involving hundreds of small holes punched into cardboard cards to guide the needle. Each roll of fabric reflects months of labor by families who have lived and worked on these same streets for generations.
