IFAL House France Mediatheque

The IFAL House in the Juárez neighborhood stands out for the distinct, sweeping curves of its twentieth-century functionalist facade. Originally a private residence built in the nineteen thirties, the house served as the home of the French Institute for Latin America. For decades, researchers and students gathered here to navigate the expansive library collection tucked behind those white walls. Now, the building holds the Mediatheque, where the quiet reading rooms retain the original layout designed for intimate study and cross-cultural exchange.
