The Teatro Aldama features a bright yellow facade with an oversized, painted sign displaying its name in block letters. Built in the nineteen fifties, it served as a primary theater for the San Rafael neighborhood during a period when the area was a center for film and stage production. Actors once gathered here to rehearse under the direction of Manolo Fabregas, a prominent figure in Mexican theater who lived nearby. The building continues to host commercial stage productions today.
