The Museo del Chocolate occupies a Porfirian-era house on Milán Street, marked by its distinctive bright red facade and a collection of vintage chocolate-making machinery. Inside, the exhibits trace the history of cacao from its ancient Mesoamerican roots to its arrival in Europe. Former owner Vladimir Soto established this space to highlight the artisanal process of crafting chocolate. Visitors often find the smell of roasting beans lingering in the air, a result of the daily workshops that remain central to the museum's operation.
