The mansion at Havre seventy-seven features a striking, weathered stone facade carved with ornate floral motifs and distinctively deep-set arched windows. Originally built at the beginning of the twentieth century as a lavish residence for a wealthy family, the house sat abandoned and crumbling for decades after the nineteen eighty-five earthquake. Today, the structure hosts a collection of restaurants and boutiques, with the original masonry fused into a modern interior design that exposes the raw, damaged brickwork left behind by the tremors.
