Burgundy Room

The Burgundy Room sits behind a plain, dimly lit entrance on Cahuenga Boulevard, identified only by a small, unassuming sign. It began as a haunt for musicians and off-duty industry workers who wanted a dark corner away from the tourist crowds of Hollywood. In the late nineties, the bar became a home base for the local rock scene, where patrons could listen to records and drink cheap beer. It stays tucked away from the neon lights, keeping the same worn, red-tinted interior.
