Melvyn’s at the Ingleside Estate

The white stucco walls and dark wood beams of the Ingleside Inn stand tucked away from the noise of Palm Springs. Inside, Melvyn’s restaurant carries the weight of a different era. Melvyn Haber bought this property in nineteen seventy-five. He turned the former estate into a dining room where Frank Sinatra and Jerry Lewis had their own regular tables. Haber insisted on formal service, tuxedoed waiters, and a menu that stayed the same for decades while the rest of the world changed.
