Agua Caliente Cultural Museum

The Agua Caliente Cultural Museum wears a distinctive, jagged roofline that mimics the shape of the nearby San Jacinto Mountains. It sits on the site of the tribe’s ancestral hot spring, known as Séc-he, which has provided healing mineral water to the Cahuilla people for thousands of years. Before this building existed, tribal members often shared their history through oral traditions on this land. Today, the museum holds the artifacts and stories of a people who remain the city’s original stewards.
