The single-story building at the corner of North Palm Canyon Drive carries a jagged, zig-zagging roofline that mimics the rugged silhouettes of the San Jacinto Mountains. Inside preLoved, the floor space holds a curated collection of mid-century modern furniture and vintage clothing salvaged from estates across the Coachella Valley. When the owner, Jim Gossen, first opened these doors, he focused on rescuing pieces abandoned during the rapid redevelopment of local resorts. He catalogs every lamp and dress by its original era.
