Built in nineteen thirty-six, the theater hosted the world premiere of Camille, where Greta Garbo made a rare public appearance. Hollywood royalty crowded the aisles for decades, and Jack Benny broadcast his radio show from the stage during the nineteen forties. The structure remains a landmark of old Palm Springs, waiting for its next chapter after sitting empty for years.
