Tivoli Bar and Grill

The Tivoli Bar and Grill features a distinct, aged brick facade that anchors the corner of the building. It operates as the oldest bar in the city, with a liquor license that dates back to nineteen forty-six. Before the current name took hold, the space served as a boarding house and a saloon for gold miners and sailors passing through the area. During the nineteen eighties, the bar became a local touchstone for sailors from the nearby Naval Base who frequented its stools.
