Bella Vista

Bella Vista Way is a street that captures the winding, hilly character of the Miraloma Park neighborhood. It is one of many streets in this area designed to follow the natural contours of the slopes surrounding Mount Davidson. Developers created these curved paths in the late nineteen twenties to transform what was then rural, forested land into a dense residential enclave. Because the streets twist and turn through the hillside, it is common for visitors and even long-time residents to occasionally lose their sense of direction while navigating the local maze.
