Welcome To Ocean Avenue Mural

The Welcome to Ocean Avenue mural greets travelers at the intersection of Ocean and Geneva Avenues with a vibrant blue backdrop and bold three-dimensional yellow lettering. Created in 2016 by the artistic collective 1AM Projects, the wall functions as a visual map of the corridor. It features illustrations of iconic neighborhood landmarks, including the former El Rey Theater and the longtime local drive-in Beep's Burgers. This artwork serves as an official gateway to the Oceanview and Ingleside districts, marking the transition into the heart of the neighborhood.
