Shipyard Park

This park sits on land that once operated as one of the most significant industrial engines in the New York Harbor. For nearly a century, this waterfront was dominated by the Hoboken Shipyard, a massive facility that reached its peak intensity during the Second World War. At that time, the site employed as many as eleven thousand workers who serviced over four thousand ships to support the war effort.
