Veterans Memorial Park in West New York is anchored by a white stepped monument that has stood at the intersection of Fifty-fourth Street and Boulevard East since the nineteen thirties. This structure serves as a dedicated Roll of Honor for local residents who served in the armed forces, preserving the names of those who were lost in major twentieth-century conflicts. The park itself was formally dedicated on November eleventh, nineteen sixty, grounding the local landscape in a tradition of remembrance that persists to this day.
