The Arcade spans the block between Fourth and Fifth Avenues with a two-story glass roof stretching over a long, narrow pedestrian corridor. Built in nineteen oh three, it was designed to mirror the grand shopping galleries of Europe, bringing a touch of Milan to downtown Nashville. Merchants once filled every storefront, selling everything from imported dry goods to bespoke suits. Today, the stalls hold a dense mix of local lunch spots, art galleries, and small shops that keep the corridor busy.
