Parc Gustave Eiffel

park garden

You are arriving at a site that served as the industrial cradle for one of the most famous structures on Earth. It was on this very ground in Levallois-Perret that Gustave Eiffel established his company workshops in eighteen sixty-six. Nearly four hundred workers labored here to forge the iron components of the Eiffel Tower, meticulously preparing every piece before transporting them to central Paris for assembly. The town honored this legacy by becoming the first to name a street after the engineer during his lifetime, and he even served as a municipal councilor here for twelve years. While the original factory buildings are now gone, the area remains a dedicated tribute to the man who permanently altered the skyline of the capital.
