Villa Reifenberg

The Villa Reifenberg stands out for its curved, white stucco facade that sweeps along the street, a sharp departure from the traditional stone townhouses of Auteuil. Built in nineteen twenty-four by architect André Lurçat, it served as a private residence for the painter Henriette Reifenberg. Lurçat designed the house to capture maximum natural light, utilizing long horizontal ribbon windows that stretch across the front. He positioned a small studio on the top floor where Reifenberg painted until the mid-twentieth century.
