Le Regard du Cygne

The building at two hundred ten Rue de Belleville conceals an authentic seventeenth-century structure that originally served as a post house. Hidden behind a quiet, cobblestone courtyard, the space retains its historical character with exposed stone walls, timber beams, and the rustic charm of an old workshop. Within the studio, a unique structural feature remains: an ancient masonry viewing port, or regard, that was once used to access the subterranean water conduits of Belleville. This stone port is now permanently sealed and forms the back wall of the stage where contemporary dance performances take place today.
