La Bellevilloise stands out for the distinct, industrial red brick facade tucked away on Rue Boyer. Established in eighteen seventy-seven as one of the first worker cooperatives in Paris, it provided cheap, quality food and clothes to the neighborhood. In nineteen oh five, the members built this venue to host political debates and educational lectures. When the cooperative collapsed decades later, the building sat empty until new owners revived the space for concerts, preserving the original floorboards where working families once voted.
