Square Elisa-Borey sits tucked between buildings with a steep, winding path that cuts through the greenery. It occupies a former industrial site where workers once manufactured mechanical parts and steel goods. In nineteen eighty-eight, the city transformed this uneven patch of land into a garden, terracing the slope to create space for benches and trees. A solitary bronze statue of a woman stands near the center, marking the name of the square in honor of a local activist who supported area residents.
