Street Art Rue Auger

landmark

The Rue Auger is a narrow brick passage covered from end to end in aerosol murals. These walls house the remnants of the street art festival known as the Festival de Rue de Pantin. Local artists began painting these facades in the mid-twenty-tens to push back against the industrial decay of the surrounding warehouses. One mural shows a massive, colorful bird frozen in flight, while another features portraits painted in stark, high-contrast black and white that stretch across entire garage doors.
