The building at Hauptstrasse two hundred thirteen features a bright yellow facade and a tall, stepped gable that stands out against the slate roofs of the Old Town. This is Zum Seppl, a tavern that has operated on this site since the seventeenth century. Student fraternities gathered here for generations, carving their names into the heavy wooden tables. When the tavern changed owners in the early nineteen hundreds, they discovered a hidden cache of antique beer steins tucked behind the cellar walls.
