Satguru Kabir Mandir Kabirchaura Math Adi Mul Gadi

The Satguru Kabir Mandir stands out for its low, whitewashed walls and the heavy, carved wooden doors that open into a quiet courtyard. This is the Adi Mul Gadi, the primary seat of the Kabir Panth, marking the spot where the fifteenth-century poet and mystic Kabir is said to have lived and taught. According to the tradition of the monastery, Kabir disappeared from this very site, leaving behind only a pile of flowers to be divided between his Hindu and Muslim followers.
