Kachori Gali

A narrow stone passage leads into the heart of Lahori Tola, where the air smells of frying dough and toasted spices. This is Kachori Gali, named for the deep-fried, stuffed pastries that vendors have prepared here for generations. While thousands of pilgrims arrive daily to visit the Kashi Vishwanath temple nearby, many stop here first for a breakfast of spicy potato curry and crisp kachoris. The street remains a cramped, bustling corridor of food stalls tucked against weathered brick walls.
