Gyokusen-inmaru Garden

The Gyokusen-inmaru Garden features a stone wall that stretches along the pond, built from a distinctive mix of red and blue stones fitted together like a puzzle. This garden served as the private retreat for the wife of the third lord of the Kaga Domain, Toshiaki Maeda. It vanished after the domain system ended in the nineteenth century, leaving behind only the foundation. Archaeologists eventually excavated the site to restore the original layout, including the stone patterns and the tea house.
