The Formule B installation consists of a glass cube filled with the scent of baby powder, tucked into the streetscape of Cool. Artist Job Koelewijn created this work by coating the interior walls in thick, white, scented layers. He designed the piece to trigger visceral memories of infancy and cleanliness for anyone catching the drift through the ventilation. It functions as a sensory sculpture, replacing the typical urban grit of Rotterdam with a sudden, overwhelming, and artificial domestic stillness.
