Plaza del Parque is a rectangular courtyard lined with tall, slender palm trees and shaded by the deep stone walls of the old city, Dalt Vila. It exists as a transition point between the narrow, steep lanes of the fortress and the lower town. Locals often call it the Living Room of Ibiza because it functions as the island's primary social hub. In the nineteen seventies, this space served as the daily gathering spot for the island’s bohemian community to trade news and gossip.
