Sandra's Leather sits on a side street in Ibiza town with a shopfront painted a bright, distinctive blue that contrasts against the white masonry common to the island. Inside, Sandra herself has worked with leather since nineteen seventy-four, when she arrived from Germany and began hand-crafting bags and belts in her small workshop. Many artisans left the island as tourism shifted toward mass-produced goods, but she kept her sewing machine running, maintaining a workshop where the smell of cured hide remains constant.
