Lunds Court

Lunds Court is a narrow, brick-lined alleyway tucked away from the main thoroughfare of Stonegate. It gets its name from Thomas Lund, a local cutler who operated his workshop here in the late eighteenth century. His business became famous for its fine knives and scissors, which were stamped with his name and sold to travelers passing through the city. The alley retains the tight, irregular dimensions of a medieval passage, preserving a cramped space where trade thrived centuries ago.
