Joe's Cafe

The white stucco building with a red-tiled roof at the corner of State and Cota Streets holds a local reputation for its neon sign that still buzzes at night. Joe's Cafe began in nineteen twenty-eight, back when it operated as a simple tavern across the street from its current home. Owners moved the business into this larger space in the seventies, bringing along the framed photos of old regulars that now line the dark wood booths and heavy bar.
