Maggie Mae's

food drink

The three-story building at the corner of Trinity and Sixth Street features a distinct, weathered brick facade and a sprawling rooftop terrace that overlooks the constant activity of the district. Originally constructed in the early twentieth century as a warehouse for wholesale grocers, it served as a storage hub for Austin's expanding food supply. In the late nineteen eighties, the space converted into a bar and live music venue, hosting acts that defined the local sound long before the surrounding area became a nightlife corridor.
