It sits on a foundation of limestone bedrock, a detail that James Moody emphasized when he opened the venue in two thousand six. He wanted a space where the stage felt like an extension of the street. During the early years, the outdoor stage faced the alleyway, forcing sound crews to mix shows while delivery trucks rumbled past the loading docks.
