The exterior of the building features a distinctive, bright red staircase that snakes along the glass facade. This structure operates as a modern workspace and office complex built over the original foundation of the Joske’s department store building. Developers kept the shell of that historic retail space while gutting the interior to make room for tech companies. In the nineteen eighties, the site housed a massive indoor amusement park called Pandemonium, complete with a roller coaster that ran through the store aisles.
