The Anton Wulff House wears a facade of heavy limestone blocks, topped by a tall, flared mansard roof that sets it apart from the neighboring warehouses. Built in eighteen seventy, this residence served as the home for a German immigrant who made his fortune through local stone masonry and mercantile trade. Wulff even supplied the rock for the original San Antonio post office. He occupied these rooms until his death, leaving behind a structure that survived a century of neglect and urban redevelopment.
