The F5 Tower rises above the intersection of Fifth and Columbia with a distinctive, sharply angled silhouette that cuts into the Seattle skyline. While the glass facade reflects the gray clouds, the building occupies the historic site of the First Methodist Church. Developers purchased the land in two thousand and eight, preserving the church's sanctuary by moving the structure several feet to incorporate it into the base of the modern skyscraper. The old church sanctuary remains embedded within the tower's foundation today.
