Croft Alley is a narrow, compressed corridor between buildings that serves as a constantly shifting gallery for aerosol art. Unlike the sanctioned, city-run laneways nearby, this space operates through an informal agreement between the property owners and the artists. The walls feature layered murals that are sprayed over, modified, or completely replaced every few weeks. When the local cocktail bar first opened its doors here in two thousand two, the owners encouraged the work to build an atmosphere of urban grit.
