Place du Maréchal Juin

Place du Maréchal Juin is a wide, circular intersection where six streets converge in Levallois-Perret. In the center sits a bronze statue of Alphonse Juin, the last French officer to be named Marshal of France during his lifetime. The square marks the site of the former Levallois station, which served the Parisian belt railway until the middle of the twentieth century. Today, the statue watches over the commuters and residents who cross the open pavement where steam trains once hauled freight and passengers.
