The Théâtre de La Jonquière features a brick facade tucked away in a quiet corner of the seventeenth arrondissement. Originally built as a workshop for the local train maintenance yards, the space served the industrial needs of the neighborhood for decades. In the nineteen seventies, the city converted the structure into a theater. Today, the venue maintains its raw, industrial volume, housing a stage where performers work amidst exposed structural beams and the echoes of the building's former life on the rails.
