Fresque Hommage à Tony Tollet

The mural at the corner of Rue de l'Annonciade and Rue Saint-Benoit is a towering, detailed tribute to Tony Tollet. Tollet spent decades painting portraits of the Lyon elite and scenes of city life, and he anchored the local art scene from his studio nearby. The fresco recreates his signature style, placing his own likeness and some of his most famous canvases onto the side of a five-story building. It effectively functions as a massive, public gallery dedicated to his singular influence.
