The Aubergraffiti Show II transforms a nondescript stretch of concrete in Sadi Carnot into a rotating, sprawling canvas for street artists. Unlike protected museums, the surfaces here change as artists paint over one another, creating a layered history of temporary work. In nineteen ninety-eight, this spot served as the venue for a major gathering of graffiti writers who sought to define the local aesthetic. Today, the walls hold the latest images instead of the ones from the first exhibition.
