St. James' Church ( C.N.I )

St. James’ Church wears a pale yellow coat and stands topped by a prominent octagonal dome that mirrors the design of an Italian church. Colonel James Skinner commissioned this building after he survived a battle and vowed to build a place of worship if he lived. He spent ninety-five thousand rupees of his own money to see it finished in eighteen thirty-six. Skinner lies buried right in front of the altar, beneath the floor where the congregation walks every Sunday morning.
