The Casino de Paris in the Nachlaot neighborhood is a stone building featuring a prominent corner entrance capped by a rounded balcony. It served as a luxury hotel and gambling den during the British Mandate period. British officers and local elites gathered here to play roulette and drink until the early hours of the morning. When the mandate ended in nineteen forty-eight, the gambling stopped, and the building transitioned into a residential apartment house that still stands on the street corner today.
