Uzi-Eli - The Etrogman

The glass jars lining the walls of Uzi-Eli hold liquids the color of jewels, glowing against the old stone of the Nahlaot neighborhood. Uzi-Eli himself, a man with a wild white beard, spent decades mixing extracts from the etrog citron fruit. He claimed these concoctions could cure everything from poor eyesight to a broken heart. He operated out of this small shop for years, turning a traditional religious symbol into an ingredient for soaps, lotions, and teas that draw people from across the globe.
