Terrace Poppy

The Terrace Poppy building stands out with its curved glass facade and narrow, vertical footprint, squeezed tightly into the Chuo district landscape. This site serves as a compact example of Fukuoka’s modern commercial architecture, designed to maximize limited urban space. In the late nineties, a local developer commissioned the project to provide high-end, flexible office and retail suites. The structure maintains a sleek, transparent profile, reflecting the busy streets of Fukuoka while housing diverse small businesses within its polished, tiered interior.
