Dar Si Said Museum

The Dar Si Said Museum features an intricate, carved cedar cupola that sits at the heart of its central courtyard. Si Said, the brother of the powerful grand vizier Ba Ahmed, built this palace in the late nineteenth century to serve as his private residence. Its high walls and ornate interiors show how the city's elite lived away from public view. The museum holds a vast collection of Moroccan woodwork, carpets, and jewelry that fills the rooms of his former home.
