Le Jardin Secret

Le Jardin Secret features two distinct, walled garden squares filled with water channels and geometric planting beds that break up the dense sprawl of the Marrakech Medina. This complex sits on the footprint of a sixteenth-century Saadian palace belonging to Sultan Moulay Abd al-Hafid. The estate sat in ruins for decades until a restoration team rebuilt the irrigation system, using the same gravity-fed mechanics that originally brought water here from the Atlas Mountains, to bring the wilting gardens back to life.
