It opened in two thousand three as a deliberate attempt to capture the aesthetic of the communist era in Poland. Patrons sit on repurposed furniture while surrounded by official propaganda slogans and portraits of former party leaders that were once displayed in government buildings. The collection includes authentic ration cards and party membership books from the nineteen seventies.
