The Collegium Nowodworskiego stands out for its high, dark red brick walls and the elegant, arched entryway that leads directly into a quiet courtyard. Built in sixteen forty-three, this structure served as the primary school for students of the Jagiellonian University. Bartłomiej Nowodworski funded the building to provide an education for young men who lacked the wealth to attend otherwise. King Jan the Third Sobieski once visited these halls, and today, researchers still work behind those tall, weathered windows.
